The Goldilocks Polvoron Recipe
I call my own version Olylocks. I love Goldilocks Polvoron so much and the thoughts made me sad that I can not have them anytime I want because it is not so accessible here abroad. So I wonder if I can make it my own. I had tried several times but I couldn't get the right proportion for my Polvoron to be molded. So I made quite few adjustments on the amount of butter I had to use. And here is the final ingredients for my Olylocks Polvoron Recipe.
Ingredients:
4 cups All Purpose Flour
2 cups Powdered Milk
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 cup Butter (approx. 1 full regular size butter)
Procedure:
1. Roast the flour in the pan until light golden brown.
2. Remove it and let it cool.
3. Melt the butter. The easiest way is through the microwave.
4. While melting the butter, mix thoroughly all 3 ingredients flour, milk and sugar in a large bowl.
5. Pour in the melted butter into the bowl.
6. Mold on you desired shape.
For me, I don't have a Polvoron molder so I just innovate something from my kitchen. And when I get tired of molding, because it is a bit messy, I just put them in tiny macaroon cups.
My husband and my daughter enjoy my Olylocks Polvoron, my own version of Goldilocks Polvoron and they always wanted for more.
